Operations Support Specialist, Mail Processor

Job Summary

The Operations Support Specialist, Mail Processor will have experience using pre-sort software to leverage USPS bulk rates as well as knowledge with CASS and NCOA for mail list hygiene.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assure all mailings comply with current USPS regulations.
  • Assure all mailings are processed accurately.
  • Input data for print jobs quickly and accurately into proprietary software.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • CASS certify, NCOA, add USPS data (zip 4, DPBC, IMB, etc.).
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Remain up to date on postal regulations.
  • Form design and standardization.
  • Develop a conduit for all statement printing.

Key Technical Knowledge:

  • 5 or more years of experience in mail processing.
  • Detailed knowledge of USPS regulations and terminology (MIDs, CRIDs, etc.).
  • Detailed knowledge of USPS Direct Mail Manual.
  • Effectively use proprietary printing software.
  • Working knowledge of Planet Press preferred.
  • Use of Satori, Neopost, Pitney Bose, GMC, and other software to manage and process mail lists.
  • Prepare first class, presort standard (bulk).
  • Prior experience with handling / doing mail list hygiene / manipulation functions using industry standard software programs, such as Access, as well as working extensively in Excel.
  • Experience with SQL queries
