.Net Senior Application Developer

Position Summary

Keystone Collections Group is looking for a Senior Application Developer to play a key role in the delivery of next-generation online systems and support tools. The primary function of the role will be to lead the delivery of solutions for browser and mobile platforms using Microsoft’s API stack, according to the prioritized capability roadmap. These products will help Keystone achieve its goals in relation to highly available, intuitive and scalable solutions for internal and external clients.

The delivery methodology is Agile moving toward a continuous integration development framework for delivery of change into the production environments. Additional responsibilities include taking an active role in daily Agile ceremonies and coordinating and supporting the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Takes responsibility for his/her work including non-technical aspects.
  • Provides technical leadership for a cross-functional technical team.
  • Manages dependencies across stakeholders (product, project, development, QA, infrastructure) where dependencies affect solution delivery.
  • Strives to maximize overall effectiveness and efficiency of his/her resources.
  • Seamlessly integrates the development approach as part of the Continuous Delivery strategy moving toward a ‘light to zero touch’ approach to building, testing, deploying code, content and infrastructure.
  • Works closely with peers in Infrastructure, DBA, QA, Architecture, and other engineers in evolving development strategy and methodology.
  • Monitors coding standards and practices (e.g. TDD, code coverage, design patterns etc).
  • Supports other areas of the team as necessary including support, development, and testing.
  • Identifies non-development dependencies related to delivery (e.g. setup / data).
  • Ensures documentation produced is sufficient and accessible.
  • Sets up and maintains technical environments for development purposes.

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Systems
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience
  • Taking the lead for small teams in Agile delivery best practices.
  • 5 or more years of experience MVC and MVVM design patterns.
  • Full SDLC experience.
  • Exposure to ACH/card payments industry.
  • Expert understanding of MS-SQL.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment.
  • Object oriented, component-based design, design patterns, anti-patterns, inversion of control, dependency injection, domain and behavior-driven design experience.
  • Exposure to high-volume transaction environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
